Pest Control Treatments

Many of our customers book an annual pest control spray or spider treatment to keep their homes pest free. We do offer a range of other specialist pest control services, such as mosquito treatments and German cockroach treatments, as well as wasp nest treatments.

Termite Inspection Port Stephens

Termites are very active in the Port Stephens area and annual termite inspections are essential, to check for termite activity and conditions that may make a termite attack more likely. Many of our customers combine their annual termite inspection with one of our other pest services to save money.

Termite Treatment Port Stephens

Many older homes and even some new homes require professional termite treatments to provide the long termite protection from termites. We offer both soil treatment and termite baiting systems as options and recommend the best termite treatment for your particular situation.

Commercial Pest Control Port Stephens

We also offer a range of commercial pest control services to health care and aged care facilities, schools, cafes, restaurants, hotels, retail, office buildings, real estate and mining. For hotels and food businesses reliant on the tourism, keeping your establishments free from pests and compliant with health regulations is essential.

Port Stephens Climate

The climate in the Port Stephens Council area does vary by region. For example rainfall in the coastal areas such as Nelson Bay tend to be higher than Williamtown and areas further inland. However, the inland areas tend to have more extreme temperatures – higher maximums in the summer and lower minimums in the winter.

However, although there are variations, the generally warm temperatures and good year round rainfall make Port Stephens an ideal for pests of all sorts, including termites. The good rainfall and waterways also mean that many areas will have mosquito problems, especially in the warmer months.

Port Stephens – Key Pests

Termites

Spiders

Ants

Cockroaches

Rodents

Other than termites, which should always be the number one concern for homeowners, the main pests in the Port Stephens area are spiders, ants and cockroaches. Mosquitoes can also be a problem in areas with water nearby.

Being a more rural area, Coptotermes tends to be the most common termite species in Port Stephens. With colonies that can grow to over 1 million individuals, this is a termite that can cause significant damage to a home in as little as 6 months. Installing a termite protection system around your home and having annual termite inspections are a much to prevent a termite attack.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I wish I could give this company more stars, recently my parents have gone to have a small bathroom renovation done to find our family home was being eaten away by white ants. We had a company come and had no communication, very little information given and paying trades to come back only to find more from lack of communication being cost after cost. An elderly neighbour spoke so highly of this company and the reports they do with just checking her house each year that we decided to give them a call. To say we were impressed is an understatement, We had Matt come out and he spent hours checking the entire house to located exactly where the termites were which just gave my parents so much piece of mind after many tears thinking the whole house would need to be knocked down which would result in them needing to sell as they are getting older too with multiple health issues that just wouldn’t allow for this.. I can’t explain how professional, patient and knowledgeable he was. Forever grateful for your service and businesses like this really deserve such a shout out to know just how great they are!!
